Timeless Design: N. 811 Bar Stool by GTV Design
This steam-bent stool made of solid beech wood was designed by the architect Josef Hofmann, co-founder of the Wiener Werkstätte, as early as 1930. The timelessly beautiful piece of furniture is characterised by its excellent seating comfort and lends a certain lightness to any room.
GTV Design - Michael Thonet's Legacy
The traditional company Gebrüder Thonet Vienna goes back to the German-Austrian master carpenter Michael Thonet, one of the most famous furniture manufacturers of the industrial age. The legendary bentwood furniture with its elements of Viennese wickerwork have become timeless bestsellers and still ensure that the manufacturer enjoys great international renown today. The iconic N. 14 chair was built more than 50 million times between 1850 and 1930, making it one of the most famous, best-selling pieces of furniture in the world to this day.
