N. 811 Chair BRIGHTLY PICTURED Viennese GTV Design SINGLE PIECE

A true classic: the N. 811 chair was designed by Josef Hoffmann for Thonet back in 1925. Viennese GTV Design, a licensed branch of the Thonet family, is now reviving the classic in a new edition.

Simple and elegant

Everything about the Thonet Vienna brothers ' N. 811 designer chair is harmonious - from the gently rounded backrest to the shape of the chair legs and the careful choice of materials.

Like many pieces of Thonet designer furniture, the N. 811 chair is made from steam-bent roundwood.

Stained beech

The N. 811 bentwood chair is made of solid beech wood, which you can order online in a light (B 01) or dark (B 03) stain. The natural wood structure shines through in stained furniture. The seat and back of the N. 811 chair are traditionally covered with Viennese wickerwork, a rattan fabric. 

Durable and environmentally friendly

All pieces of furniture from the manufacturer Wiener GTV Design are made from wood that comes from forests that are managed in a socially and environmentally responsible manner. Specialist commissions are even planning to award Gebrüder Thonet Vienna the European ECOLABEL eco-label.
