Four-legged friend: Nestor Chair by Mater
Nestor looks like the modern version of a classic shaker chair. The special: The Nestor Chair has a seat made of paper, more precisely paper yarn. How does it last? Bombproof! And the seating comfort leaves nothing to be desired. The exemplary design label Mater writes on its website: "is an exceptionally comfortable and durable piece of furniture that is adapted to the human body".
Different colours
You can order the Nestor chair online in three different versions: With a frame of black stained beech, grey stained beech and matt lacquered oak. The seat is available with black or natural paper mesh.
Versatile use
The simple design with that certain something adapts to any environment. Nestor can be used as a dining chair, as a work chair, as a shoe-pulling aid in the hallway, etc. By the way, we owe the linear look to the Danish designer Tom Stepp.
Material and size
The frame of the Nestor Chair is made from FSC-certified beech or oak wood. The seat is made from the above-mentioned paper yarn - available in black or natural colours.
Nestor by Mater is 57 cm wide, 76 cm high and 53 cm deep. The seat is a comfortable 44 cm.
