Noche is a discreet rug which is anything but boring despite its unobtrusive appearance. The jute rug is never one hundred percent plain, but mottled , which makes for liveliness.
Processing
Nanimarquina carpets are hand-knotted and the threads are spun by hand. The material used is relatively unusual by Nanimarquina standards: jute is used (technique: Indo Nepal). Nanimarquina also uses Ecosheen Jutex, a chemical-free detergent that is not only particularly environmentally friendly but also harmless to the workers.
The density is relatively high at 87,200 knots/m2, the fibre height: 11 mm, the total height 16 mm, the weight 5 kg/m2.
