Anglepoise Original 1227 table light from George Carwardine.
Designed in 1934 by George Carwardine, the Original 1227 was reissued in January 2009 to coincide with its 75thanniversary.
To commemoratethis occasion the design featured on a series of ten stamps by the RoyalMail celebrating British Design Classics including such iconic designs as the Concorde, the Routemaster Bus, and the Mini. The lamp is available in three classic colours and a chrome version.
This design can fit perfectly into a wide range of traditional
orcontemporary interiors in the home or office. Included bulb 15W Energy saving.

She now has a chrome cap and the switch is now on cable.
