Translucent brilliance: Orsa pendant luminaire by Artemide
As an embodiment of perfect precision, the Orsa pendant luminaire is characterised by a simple elegance, because it has been reduced to its essential elements. Thus, it is possible to create a larger volume for the light. The thin metal stem widens at the end and forms both heat sink and housing for the LED light source. The design ensures that the light source remains invisible and the luminaire resembles a floating disc of light.
