For bookworms and avid readers, the silver-coloured LED's Oskar light from Ingo Maurer is the ultimate choice. Looks like a bookend (is also one), but is also the unconventional way to highlight your favorite books brilliantly. Since the Oskar LED shelf light is freestanding thanks to a broad base, you can also use it as a desk lamp.
We have been offering Oskar for a long time in our Onlineshop, LED's Oskar is - according to the name - the energy-saving and environmentally-friendly LED version. This re-edition is from 2012.
Provides enlightenment
To ensure that you always have the light where needed, LED's Oskar by Ingo Maurer is equipped with a flexible metal arm. Just bend it in the desired direction, and you or your books will be lit. The four meter cable is relatively long. This makes it also invisible behind larger book shelves. Do you have many, many books? Then order more than one LED's Oskar shelf lamp online.
Material, size and care
The designer lamps are made of anodized aluminum and metal. The Ingo Maurer luminaire achieves stability through the metal base. The height of the Oskar LED luminaire is 24 cm (or 33 cm), width 19 cm. Please note that the shelf lamps should have a minimum distance of 30 cm to the illuminated surfaces. Better safe than sorry! For cleaning, use a cloth moistened with a few drops of mild detergent.
