Have you ever imagined a lounge version of geometric shapes? Neither have we, but the design duo Anderssen and Voll, in collaboration with Muuto, have taken that off our hands and created a comfortable lounge sofa in the form of the Oslo Sofa.
Design duo Anderssen & Voll
Anderssen and Voll are two thirds of the former Norway Says. They are among the best-known and most successful designers from Norway. They have been awarded both Norwegian and Scandinavian Designer of the Year. In addition, they have received great recognition worldwide and numerous other awards for their designs in the fields of furniture, lighting and home accessories.
Material and format
The inner frame of the sofa is made of steel. It is upholstered with Nozag springs and a shell of moulded foam. The legs of the sofa are made of aluminium with a powder-coated surface. It is 150 cm wide, 73 cm deep and 78 cm high. The seat height is 45 cm.
Cover material:
- Steelcut Trio: 90% pure new wool (combed), 10% nylon
- Fjord: 92% virgin wool, worsted, 8% nylon
- Vidar: 94% new wool, 6% nylon
