Equipped with a pleasantly curved shape and an innovative sensor pump technology, the Otto soap dispenser by Umbra always dispenses the right amount of soap. A fill level indicator shows when it needs to be refilled and this can be done easily from above.
Material and format
The soap dispenser has a matt surface. It holds 250 ml and is operated with four AAA batteries, which are not included in the scope of delivery. It is suitable for use with hand soap or liquid-based disinfectants.
Note: If, after inserting the batteries, the blue light comes on and you hear the motor but it does not dispense the soap, try pouring the soap into a separate container, then fill the pump with hot (not boiling) water and let it cool for 5-10 minutes. Hold your hand in front of the motion sensor and repeat the process until the water starts to flow well. Now empty the water and fill the pump with soap again. If you find that the brand of soap you bought is too thick, try adding a little water to thin it out. The Otto Automatic Soap Pump is not recommended for use with foaming, granular or thick soap or gel-based disinfectants.
