Iconic: P376 pendant lamp KF2 by andtradition
Form as a pure derivative of function - that was the design idea of Jørgen Kastholm and Preben Juhl Fabricius. The P376 pendant lamp is a perfect example of Kastholm & Fabricius' architectural idea of design. It was conceived in 1963 and creates a soft and diffuse light through the shades. The arrangement of the shades and the industrial look create an iconic and captivating expression.
Design duo Kastholm & Fabricius
Jørgen Kastholm (1931-2007) and Preben Juhl Fabricius (1931-1984) were driven by a common mission to make form a pure derivative of function. Both were architects and graduated from the Danish School of Interior Design, where they studied with Finn Juhl and then with Arne Jacobsen . Their designs can be seen in museums all over the world - from the Museu de Arte in São Paulo to the MoMA in New York and the Musée d`Art Moderne in Paris.
