Material and size
The frame is made of black lacquered metal. A black polyurethane cord is used for the Panton One chairs. The Panton designer chairs are 87 cm high and 42 cm wide. The seat height is 49 cm. The maximum load of the Panton One Dining chair is 150 kilograms. And the Montana chair is also stackable: up to ten chairs are no problem.
Design
Behind the design of the Montana chairs is none other than Verner Panton (1926-1998), Danish architect and main founder of Pop Art furniture design. Without him, the seventies would have been far less colourful and perfect. The Panton One chair was designed in 1955.
