Curvy seating landscape: Pantonova wire seating system from Montana
Behind the design of the Pantonova system from 1971 is none other than Verner Panton (1926-1998), the Danish architect and main founder of Pop Art furniture design. Without him , the seventies would have been far less colourful and perfectly formed .
All good things come in threes
The Pantonova system comprises three curvy modules: Concave, Convex and Linear. These work wonderfully as independent, elegant eye-catchers in private or public spaces. Combined together, they create an exciting seating landscape made of wire, which you can arrange in a circle, wave or S-shape. But regardless of whether they stand alone or in a group - the Pantonova design is characterised by an expressive interplay of transparency and sculptural, organic design language that is sure to impress.
Material and format
Concave measures W 77.3 x H 73.2 x D 57.8 cm. Convex has the dimensions W 78.7 x H 73.2 x D 57.8 cm. Linear measures 55.2 cm in width, 61.9 cm in depth and 73.2 cm in height. All modules have a seat height of 40 cm and can support a maximum load of 110 kg.
You can choose between chrome-plated and powder-coated steel in the colour Black-Red. If you want to use your Pantonova system in the outdoor area, the outdoor version made of electropolished stainless steel is the right choice.
