Vertical and horizontal stacker: the paperback bookcase from Spectrum. The shelf is a real space saver as it is screwed to the wall. If you hang it high enough, you can place a table, sideboard or sofa underneath.
In addition, the books on the paperback shelf are not placed vertically on the shelf as usual, but horizontally- which makes for a special kind of eye-catcher. You can also display your favourite items on the top.
Two colours, three sizes
We offer the Paperback bookcase in white and anthracite. You can also choose between three sizes (the dimensions refer to the back panel):
- Paperback mini: 30 x 60 cm
- Paperback small: 60 x 60 cm
- Paperback: 120 x 60 cm
The Paperback bookcase is a modular bookcase, which means that you can extend it almost infinitely by simply hanging several bookcases next to each other - either in the same colour or mixed.
Material
The back panel of the Paperback bookcase is made of lacquered MDF (medium density fibreboard) and is attached to the wall with four screws. This is provided with 13 horizontal slots into which 4millimetre thick solid core shelves are pushed. Three shelves are wider at the front. This means that even larger books or magazines find a nice spot.
The design
Behind Paperback is Studio Parade and behind Studio Parade are and the two designers Eric Sloot and Paulien Berendsen. The Dutch designers design everything that comes between their creative fingers: from the aforementioned bookshelves to outdoor furniture and street lamps. The design of the Paperback shelf dates back to 2010.
