Pauper Money Box Artek SINGLE PIECES
Your advantages with einrichten design
personal, individual, passionately
Traditional: Pauper piggy bank from Artek
The ceramic money box reminds of the old Finnish tradition of placing a wooden statue of a poor man in front of a church and thus collecting money for the needy. The small figure is part of a series of seven hand-made ceramic objects designed by COMPANY for the Artek FIN/JPN Friendship Collection.
Because 2019 marks the 100th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Finland and Japan. Artek, as a typical Finnish company, uses this anniversary to explore the relationship between the two countries and combine them in creative collections.
