Two low tables with egg-shaped surfaces like two-dimensional projections of organic shapes that overlap - these are the Phoenix tables by Moroso. This creates an overall picture that is not monotonous and yet harmonious - a true highlight in any living room!

The Spanish-born designer now lives and works in Milan, where she obtained her diploma in architecture at the Polytechnic in 1989. Afterwards, she worked as an assistant to Achille Castiglioni and was an employee of the De Padova studio, where she developed furniture together with Vico Magistretti. In 2001, Urquiola opened her own studio for product design, interior design and architecture. Her furniture designs are characterised by material diversity and colourful designs and adorn the product portfolio of renowned manufacturers, including Alessi, Driade, Flos, Gan, Kartell, Rosenthal and Verywood.  

Quality and ingenuity  

Moroso was founded as early as 1952 and since then has stood for high quality, unbridled ingenuity and colourful design furniture. The focus is on unique, unusual design, environmentally friendly production and the use of natural, recyclable materials wherever possible. Material and format  

The egg-shaped side tables Phoenix are 27 cm and 33 cm high. The smaller one measures 95 cm deep and 98 cm wide and the larger one is 98 cm deep and 135 cm wide.  

The frame can be ordered in either steel or wood. The table tops are made of Laminam® or veneered Alpi® and are available in different colour variations.
