Inspired by expressive dance: Pina low side table Pulpo
Movement and emotion are tangible in this Pulpo design side table made of cast glass. The extravagant, low table has matured through reflection and curves into a work of art that can convince on any stage in the world. Indeed, Sebastian Herkner's striking, slender pina side table series is inspired by the abstract twists and turns of Pina Bausch's famous dance theatre. The basic figure with base, bar and top glows in various combinations of aqua blue, transparent, green and light grey. A masterpiece that also makes the art of movement tangible in the tall version or in a combination of both tables.
Pulpo designer: Sebastian Herkner
Poetic compositions, refined forms and delicate surfaces characterise his designs: Sebastian Herkner, who founded his studio in Offenbach am Main in 2006, creates furniture, luminaires and textiles as well as rooms and installations - often in combination with contemporary techniques and traditional craftsmanship. The multi-award-winning designer teaches at university, collaborates with trade fairs and museums and works for some of the most renowned design manufacturers of our time. Pulpo got to know the creative mind at various international design shows while he was still a student.
Pulpo - a German label takes off internationally
Pulpo was founded in 2006 by Ursula and Patrick L'hoste as a design brand at the interface between form and material. The concept of Pulpo is to work on lamps, furniture and accessories according to the designer's choice. The company's focus is on working with emerging designers and selected manufacturers, with the nature of the material forming the basis for evaluation. Materials such as ceramics, stone and especially glass, which has been pulpo's focus since 2013. The designers and artists develop their designs freely and experimentally, attracting great international attention.

The design side table pina by Pulpo consists of cast glass, brass and steel. The table top has a diameter of 44 cm and is 42 cm high. The metal bar is black, the top and the base are transparent. Pina is available in different colour variations.
