Sculptural: Pirce Sospensione pendant lamp by Artemide
Gently curved rings that spiral downwards to create magical lighting effects. The shape is reminiscent of the rings of Saturn and they seem almost alive in their arrangement. The Pirce pendant luminaire convinces with its graphic-sculptural design that visually enhances every room.
Designer Giuseppe Maurizio Scutellà
After Giuseppe Maurizio Scutella worked as a leading project designer for injection moulds and plastic moulds for twelve years, he started to work as a freelance designer. Thus, he works in the field of lighting technology and as a senior designer for Marci & Co, a company in the household appliance sector. He began working with Artemide in 2008. His Pirce pendant luminaire won the iF Product Design Award in 2010.
Material and format
The luminaire is made of aluminium. It provides an indirect light distribution in the room. The luminaire is 94 cm wide, 97 cm deep and 28 cm high. The maximum height from the ceiling is 200 cm.
