Whether to put your feet up or as a flexible seat - the PK33 always works! The PK 33 model by Poul Kjærholms is a three-legged stool. It illustrates Kjaerholm's use of assembly techniques, his exploration of materials and his simplifications of structures into an ideal form. The design of the Fritz Hansen stool is based on that of the PK71 side table set and the PK80 lounger, without losing its individuality.

Fritz Hansen - Visionary Design since 1872

Fritz Hansen, that is an exclusive design brand, which is characterised by timeless collections and world-famous classic and contemporary furniture, lamps and accessories. The company was founded in Denmark in 1872. In the 1950s, the famous designer Arne Jacobsen is responsible for the design at Fritz Hansen. In 1979, the until then family-run company becomes part of the Skandinavisk Holding. At the same time, Verner Panton is in the centre of attention as a leading avant-garde figure and shapes the design of the manufacturer immensely. And so Fritz Hansen is constantly developing and yet always keeps the long history and tradition in mind by continuing to focus on the cooperation with international and visionary designers.

Material and format

The PK33 stool is available with loose leather cushion in different leather groups and colours. The frame is made of matt chrome-plated spring steel.

Aura leather:

Chrome-tanned, processed, strong grain and hard-wearing surface. High light fastness. Thickness 1.4-1.6 mm.

White leather:

Chrome tanned aniline leather, full grain with texture and protective varnish. Please note that white is more sensitive than other colours. Thickness 1,4-1,6 mm.

Optical white leather:

Chrome tanned, full grain, finished, with light protective varnish. Please note that the white is more sensitive than other colours. Thickness 1.4-1.6 mm.

Rustic leather:

Vegetable-tanned, completely chrome-free aniline leather without protective varnish with a light impregnation and visible natural features. Becomes lighter with use and acquires a patina. Thickness 1.2-1.4 mm.

Natural leather:

Vegetable-tanned, completely chrome-free natural leather without colour or protective varnish. Darkens with use and acquires a patina. Thickness 1.2-1.4 mm.

Grace leather:

Vegetable & chrome-tanned aniline leather, full-grain, with light structure and light impregnation. Becomes lighter with use and gets patin. Thickness approx. 1.4-1.6 mm.
