The return of a classic: Result Chair by Hay
Originally, the Result Chair was designed by Friso Kramer and Wim Rietveld for Ahrend. At the time of its creation at the end of the 1950s, the Result Chair was a real innovation, as its frame was made of sheet steel that was cut to size using a new method. This is how the designer chair got its airy appearance oriented towards industrial design.
The Result Chair was often found in Dutch schools of the 60s and 70s and paved the way for a whole generation.
The industrial look of the chair is softened by the oak veneer seat and back. You can order these online in different surface finishes.
Hay - Design from Denmark
The Danish manufacturer Hay is in principle known for its cooperation with young up-and-coming designers. However, company manager Rolf Heide came to the conclusion that the Result Chair fits perfectly into the Hay product portfolio. With its reduced-minimalist appearance, the design chair can actually be combined with many contemporary Hay designer furniture.
