Connecting element: Reveal Pendant Lamp Pendant lamp by Northern
Contemporary style combined with traditional craftsmanship - the Reveal Pendant Lamp stands for elegance and simplicity. Its smooth curves and flawless finish are hallmarks of Scandinavian design. To create a new relationship between structure, shadow and light source, the light was reduced to the essentials. The pale colours of the Nordic dawn, as well as the shimmering light of the Norwegian coast, served as inspiration for the subtle tones of Reveal.
Designer Silje Nesdal
Silje Nesdal works across disciplines, having acquired her design skills through studies in furniture design, interior design, fashion and textiles. Nesdal was born in the Norwegian fjords and grew up in a community with a rich heritage of textile design and woodworking. There she learned about traditional crafts and was inspired to combine them with new and modern techniques. Through research and testing, she was able to combine the new with the old and develop optimised and contemporary products.
Northern - Creative from the North
In the North, creative expression is combined with traditional craftsmanship and harsh contrasts. The Northern brand was founded in the studios of Northern Lighting, a team of creative designers. They combine aesthetics with functionality and use natural materials and genuine craftsmanship to produce their designs. Products by Northern convince with their simplicity and straightforward design. Smoked wood, muted colours and strong silhouettes create an elegant touch. Northern designs with the claim to make every ambience unique and to create a new vision of the Nordic style.
