Crown of a tree: RF200 table lamp from Carl Hansen & Søn
Thanks to its unique design, this table lamp emits atmospheric light from its elegant shade. Classic and modern at the same time, it blends into the interior. Designer Rikke Frost has endeavoured to find a balance between the elements of the lamp. The wooden base with its visible grain gives off a warm, natural light, while the metal reflectors lend a cooler, yet soft expression. The result is an expressive, glare-free light source in which the materials complement each other perfectly.
Carl Hansen & Søn - Danish design since 1908
What began in 1908 as a small furniture workshop on the Danish island of Funen has developed into a successful and globally recognised design company. Since the carpenter Carl Hansen founded the company, two aspects have taken centre stage: an uncompromising commitment to the finest craftsmanship and collaboration with exceptional designers. The development of Carl Hansen & Søn has been significantly influenced by the well-known Danish designer Hans J. Wegner. The creative connection with him began in 1949 when Carl Hansen's son met Wegner and enabled the then still unknown designer to design an extensive furniture series. The Wishbone Chair, also known as CH24, is part of the collection conceived at that time and is absolutely well-known and popular today.
Material and format
The table lamp is available in oak or walnut wood. The dimensions are W 20 cm x H 20 cm.
