Inspired by nature: Row Large Rug Northern
The Row rug series by Northern was inspired by landscapes from a bird's eye view. The structured surface is composed of parallel lines that are reminiscent of ploughed fields. They meet at very different angles, so that the borders of individual fields are almost recognisable. The rugs are hand-woven from New Zealand wool. Traditional weavers cut the fibres by hand to create the long, even rows and contrasting lines.
