Elegant and simple: S4 display cabinet by Tecta
Bauhaus was always a theme for designer Hanne Willman, the new S4 display cabinet is a homage to that time, which she designed for Tecta. The reduction to the essentials and a constructive guiding principle characterise Tecta's products and can also be found in the S4 showcase.
She herself says: "That was the challenge to create a piece of furniture that is not loud, but discreet."
Designer Hanne Willmann
Hanne Willmann is a product designer from Berlin and creates furniture, lamps and accessories. After studying in Berlin and Barcelona, she worked for the design studio Autoban in Istanbul and for the designer Werner Aisslinger in Berlin before founding her own studio in 2015. In the same year, she was named Design Talent of the Year and just one year later she received the German Design Award Newcomer Finalist.
Material and format
The body of the showcase consists of glass and black lacquered MDF. The base is also made of black lacquered steel. The showcase is 130 cm wide, 40 cm deep and 92 cm high.
