The SÄULE table was designed by Fabio Fantolino, who is known for his equally austere and poetic style. With the expressive arches, he refers to the Thonet tradition and he chose the top in the trendy collection colours orange, brown and plum red. SÄULE becomes the new focal point of social life in the room and invites you to linger in comfort.
GTV Design - Michael Thonet's legacy
The traditional company Gebrüder Thonet Vienna goes back to the German-Austrian master carpenter Michael Thonet, one of the most famous furniture manufacturers of the industrial age. The legendary bentwood furniture with its elements of Viennese wickerwork have become timeless bestsellers and still ensure that the manufacturer enjoys great international renown today. The iconic N. 14 chair was built over 50 million times between 1850 and 1930, making it one of the most famous, best-selling pieces of furniture in the world.
Material and format
The rectangular table COLUMN made of solid Canaletto walnut and a thick table top of solid wood is available with a glossy HPL laminate surface in the colours orange, brown and plum.
It is 300 cm wide, 100 cm deep and 75 cm high.
