Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec
The Bouroullec design duo consists of brothers Ronan and Erwan, who were born in Quimper, France. Since 1999, the two have been running their design studio in the Belleville neighbourhood of Paris as equal partners. Material and format
The seat and back shell of the Softshell Chair are made of glass fibre-reinforced polyamide. The upholstery is made of polyurethane foam. The fabric has two seams at the sides of the backrest. The four-legged base is made of polyamide in the colour basic dark.
It is 49 cm wide, 55 cm deep and 82.5 cm high. The seat height is 44.7 cm.
