Craftsmanship and industry meet, two seemingly contradictory materials result in a harmonious whole: the St. Mark Outdoor chair is made of wood and aluminium. The result is a unique, solid and comfortable chair. The ergonomic shape of the backrest ensures the best seating comfort, while aluminium noticeably reduces the weight of the seating furniture and allows it to be used outdoors. The colourful St. Mark chair is also stackable. 

Martino Gamper for Moroso 

The designer, born in 1971 in Merano, lives and works in London. He began his career working for a cabinetmaker in his hometown and went on to study sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna. In 2000 he graduated from the Royal College of Art in London, where he was taught by Ron Arad. Martino Gamper specialises in exhibition and interior design and his award-winning work can be seen in international exhibitions.

Material and format 

The St. Mark chair for indoor and outdoor use is 52 cm wide, 56 cm deep and 78 cm high. The seat height is 45 cm. 

The chair is available either completely made of wood, of aluminium or in a mixed version. We currently stock it in the colour ocean blue.
