Exhibition piece: Suita Sofa 3 seater open with Suita Chaise Lounge small by Vitra
Homage to American mid-century design - the Suita sofa exudes a light yet industrial aesthetic based on the clear, geometrically shaped body and the bridge-like, slender legs. The Italian designer Antonio Citterio has chosen fabrics for this sofa that harmonise with the restrained shape and ensure a pleasant sitting experience.
Antonio Citterio - The designer
Antonio Citterio opened his own design studio at the age of 22 and worked together with Terry Dawn on buildings in Europe and Japan from 1987 to 1996. Together with Patricia Viel, he founded an interdisciplinary studio for architecture, interior design and graphic design in 2000. In addition to Vitra, he co-operates with many other well-known companies in the design furniture industry, e.g. B&B Italia, Flos, Kartell and Technogym.
