Stylish: Suspence pendant luminaire by Fritz Hansen
Behind the design of the Suspence pendant luminaire is the desire to present a sequence of movements in a static form. The body of the luminaire symbolizes the physical tractive force with the help of which the shape of the luminaire is formed.
The result is a rounded shape with soft curves. A so-called infinity diffuser on the underside ensures that the light is focused and prevents the luminaire from dazzling. It also creates an aesthetic optical illusion of light. By removing the diffuser, the light beam can be amplified if required.
Designstudio GamFratesi
Stine Gam and Enrico Fratesi form the design studio GamFratesi. Their style is based on a combination of tradition and modernity and is characterized by an experimental approach in which selected materials and techniques play a role. Thus, traditional Danish furniture and craftsmanship are combined with a classical Italian intellectual and conceptual approach.
