Special edition: Swan armchair by Fritz Hansen Choice 2024
Like The Egg, the Swan was designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1958 for the entrance areas of the Royal Hotel in Copenhagen.
This was also Arne Jacobsen's chance. Now he could put his theories into practice. The brief was to design the hotel building with all its details and furnishings.
A plastic shell on a rotating aluminium swivel base, upholstered with a layer of cold foam. This exclusive edition is available until December 2024.
The special edition of the Swan armchair is available in Serpentine fabric cream/bronze with piping in chestnut leather.
Shell and frame:
The plastic shell is upholstered with cold foam and sits on an aluminium base and satin-polished tubular column. The Swan can optionally be ordered with a seat height of 48 cm. It has a seat height of 40 cm as standard. The Swan is ideal for private use but also for lounge and waiting areas.
The chair is available with or without a return mechanism.
