A flowing, sculptural and wonderfully archetypal character - The Lounge Chair by Mater builds on the popular Dining Chairs and High Stools in its form and develops them further with a generously rounded backrest and the deep, comfortably upholstered seat. Relaxation and comfort are thus guaranteed.
Design Studio Space Copenhagen
Space Copenhagen was founded in 2005 by Signe Bindslev Henriksen and Peter Bundgaard Rützou. The design studio works in various disciplines; in addition to furniture and lighting, they also design art installations of all kinds as well as interior design for private homes, hotels and restaurants. The studio's aim is to break new ground in design, balancing opposites such as classic and modern, industrial and organic, sculptural and minimal or light and shadow.
Material and format
The Lounge Chair is made of FSC-certified beech or oak wood and is available in three versions with leather upholstery. It is 65 cm wide, 69 cm deep and 72 cm high. The seat height is a comfortable 40 cm.
