Tie-Break Chair Richard Lampert
Your advantages with einrichten design
personal, individual, passionately
Not only for tennis fans: Tie-Break chair by Richard Lampert
The design chair by Richard Lampert impresses above all with its extravagant material. Designer Bertjan Pot not only inspires tennis fans with the unusual armchair: even sports fans will find a comfortable seat here. The seat is made of tennis net and the edges are sewn in with safety belts. The extremely comfortable Tie Break outdoor armchair, which neither needs an additional cushion nor has to flee from raindrops, has found international favour. The pliable mesh fabric contributes to the high seating comfort. With a little care, you can use the Tie-Break outdoors all year round. Just make sure that Tie-Break does not stand permanently in the ground and prevent damage to the paintwork, otherwise the armchair may rust. The armchair is available in completely blue or black. However, you can also use the Tie Break armchair by Richard Lampert for indoor use.
Highly praised and full of ideas: Designer Bertjan Pot
Bertjan Pot, born in the Netherlands in 1975, is characterised by a love of experimentation and a fascination for technology, structure, pattern and colour. His best-known works include the Pots Random Light, a fibreglass cast in resin individually wrapped around a large balloon; the Carbon Chair, a chair made of hand-wound carbon fibre and epoxy, with no metal frame at all; and Downstairs, a chandelier made of an inverted safety ladder decorated with fairground lights. Pot's work can be seen in numerous permanent exhibitions at well-known institutions such as the Museum of Modern Art in New York and the Victoria & Albert Museum in London.
