The extraordinary form of the Timber armchair is an absolute eye-catcher. The square frame simultaneously forms the armrests and, together with the backrest strut, creates a special geometric expression. The teak slats are so fine that they give the chair an additional refinement and pick up the minimalist design.
Jan Kurtz - German purism
Jan Kurtz founded his label in Affalterbach in Baden-Württemberg, Germany, in the mid-1990s. After initially designing primarily outdoor furniture, Jan Kurtz expanded his range to include design furniture and accessories for indoor use. Company founder and boss Jan Kurtz wants to develop designs that are integrated into the living and working environment of their owners in a functional and aesthetic way.
Material and format
The armchair is made of high quality plantation teak with the Trees-4-Trees certificate. The material is particularly weather-resistant and develops a silver-grey patina over time. Regular treatment with teak oil can delay this process. It is 57 cm wide, 67 cm deep and 84 cm high.
