Très chic: Tonella armchair from Sancal
At the beginning of the company about 40 years ago, Sancal mainly produced chairs in French style. Over time, the company's portfolio and style changed. Sancal's new Tonella armchair is a homage to the past.
The design armchair is versatile, robust and absolutely comfortable. Its design is reminiscent of barrels with its metallic struts - not by chance, as the manufacturer Sancal is based in Yecla, a small wine region in southern Spain.
Design studio Note
The Stockholm-based design studio was founded in 2008 and is active in the fields of interior design and product and graphic design. Several projects have already been realised together with Sancal. The philosophy of the design studio is to stand out from the crowd and to use the designs to draw attention to the uniqueness of the pieces of furniture.
