An absolute eye-catcher for your outdoor area: the frame of the Tropicalia chaise longue made of tubular steel structure is covered with a polymer yarn. The resulting weave creates a particularly refined graphic structure. If the wickerwork is single-coloured, it appears more elegant; if two or three-coloured cords are used, the lounger appears more playful.

Design by Patricia Urquiola  

The Spanish-born designer now lives and works in Milan, where she graduated in architecture from the Polytechnic in 1989. Afterwards, she worked as an assistant to Achille Castiglioni and was an employee of the De Padova studio, where she developed furniture together with Vico Magistretti. In 2001, Urquiola opened her own studio for product design, interior design and architecture. Her furniture designs are characterised by material diversity and colourful designs and adorn the product portfolio of renowned manufacturers, including Alessi, Driade, Flos, Gan, Kartell, Rosenthal and Verywood.

Moroso was founded as early as 1952 and since then has stood for high quality, unbridled ingenuity and colourful design furniture. Material and format  

The Tropicalia lounger is 157 cm long, 90 cm wide and 77 cm high. The seat height is 37 cm.  

The lounger is made of stainless steel with a weave of plastic gar. The foot glides are made of PVC.  

The beautiful outdoor lounger is available in many different colours.
