Antonio Citterio - Designer
Antonio Citterio opened his own design studio at the age of 22 and worked together with Terry Dawn on buildings in Europe and Japan from 1987 to 1996. Together with Patricia Viel, he founded an interdisciplinary studio for architecture, interior design and graphic design in 2000. In addition to Vitra, he works with many other well-known companies in the design furniture industry, e .g. B&B Italian Flos, Kartell and Technogym.
Material and format
The frame and armrests of the Unix Chair are made of single-colour polypropylene in basic dark or softgrey. The seat and backrest cover are made of fabric or Diamond Mesh with a mesh look or Silk Mesh with a closed look. The base is a cantilever frame made of chrome-plated tubular steel.
