Aesthetics: Unterlinden Table table lamp by Artemide
The Unterlinden table lamp can be adjusted to the perfect position thanks to the thin, curved metal rod, so that the lamp head perfectly illuminates the workplace without dazzling. The Herzog & Meuron design studio first designed an Unterlinden pendant luminaire for the Feltrinelli Foundation in Milan. The next logical step was the flexible table lamp of the series.
Herzog & Meuron Design Office
The Herzog & Meuron design studio is made up of five designers: Jacques Herzog, Pierre de Meuron, Christine Binswanger, Ascan Mergenthaler and Stefan Marbach. It was founded in Basel in 1978 by Meuron and Herzog. Over the years, the other partners followed. The international team now consists of 32 partners and around 300 employees. Projects in Europe, North and South America as well as Asia are among their tasks. With its headquarters in Basel and branches in Hamburg, London, Madrid and New York, internationality is definitely lived. Projects range from private houses to large urban development projects and public facilities such as stadiums and museums.
