The one from Sven von Boetticher designed UP stool from Interstuhl is a multifunctional piece of seating furniture that brings movement into everyday life.
The idea
Interstuhl 's UP is at hand wherever people need to work together flexibly and at short notice. The practical stool is easy to carry thanks to its light 4.5 kg weight and can be used wherever it is needed.
This makes UP perfect for temporary collaboration - be it at workshops, meetings or brainstorming sessions. Keeping people mobile and the agenda flexible - Interstuhl has created the new multifunctional stool with this in mind.
The red carrying strap not only characterises its design, but also conveys the mobility of the stool. But it's not just people who can easily move UP from A to B - UP also moves people! And where mobile sitting is the order of the day, thinking also remains dynamic.
With its infinitely variable height adjustment, it can be perfectly adapted to any body size. The highlight: because the base of the stool is rounded, the multi-purpose stool follows every movement, even when seated. UP easily resolves the actual contradictions between sitting and movement. The soft seat inlay ensures a high level of seating comfort.
The design
The designer behind the UP stool is the renowned ID AID design studio led by Sven von Boetticher, which has already won several awards for its innovative design ideas.
With UP , the designers have succeeded in creating a flexible piece of furniture that is both simple and striking. Thanks to its clear and minimalist design, the stool blends into any living or working environment.
The eye-catching design feature of each of the five colour versions is the red carrying handle. The seat and base are also identical for each version, namely basalt grey.
However, you can choose from five different body colours and order UP in grey-white, deep black, salmon orange, pastel turquoise or lemon yellow here in the online shop.
Sustainability
Interstuhl also remains true to its sustainability philosophy with UP : the manufacturer uses 50% recycled materials to produce the stool and does not use any composite materials or adhesives. Thanks to its high-quality workmanship, UP is particularly durable - Interstuhl guarantees this with a 10-year manufacturer's guarantee Manufacturer's guarantee of 10 years.

Sehr guter Pendelhocker - jedoch im Sitzen zu hart
Der Interstuhl Pendelhocker ist in seiner Beweglichkeit sehr gut und man kann auch gut am Schreibtisch damit arbeiten. Was allerdings lt. Angaben des Herstellers nicht der Wahrheit entspricht, ist die Angabe, weiches Sitzinlay. Sie ist sehr hart, wenn man darauf sitzt und verursacht Schmerzen, das wird mir oft bestätigt. Nach meiner Meinung nach, ist der Interstuhl Pendelhocker eine sehr gute Lösung seinen Körper in Bewegung zu bringen. Doch wenn es um das Sitzgefühl geht, so hätte man das doch etwas besser (weicher)gestalten können.

Stabile Rundum-Beweglichkeit...
... findet man nicht so oft, auf diesem Hocker immer!!! Das hat ihn bereits nach kurzer Zeit unentbehrlich werden lassen. Und der Super-Preis hält auch das Budget beweglich...

Sehr originelles Sitzmöbel zu einem Superpreis!
Der Hocker ist ein echter Hingucker, aber trotzdem sehr bequem. Man sitzt auf ihm wie auf einem Sitzball, nur dass er sehr viel weniger Platz einnimmt. Die erforderliche aufrechte Sitzposition ist sehr entlastend für den Rücken.
