Designer Mika Tolvanen
The renowned Finnish designer Mika Tolvanen graduated from the Royal College of Art in 2001 and opened his own studio immediately afterwards. Since then, he has been designing products for the home and contract sectors and producing prototypes himself in his workshop on the island of Lauttasaari outside Helsinki, Finland.
Material and format
The design chair consists of a shell made of lacquered ash or oak veneer and a base made of pressed wood. It is 46 cm wide, 52.5 cm deep and 78.5 cm high. The seat height is 45 cm.
