The opal sphere became the centrepiece and inspiration for the entire Cesta family, whose name comes from the Spanish word for "basket" and was originally developed to protect this fragile piece.
The Wally Cestita wall lamp was designed in the same year as the famous Cesta lamps and represents the same opal spherical shape and formal elegance. With a structure, the lamp is fixed by a metal arm and a wall ring that enclose and hold the glass shade.
