A versatile design classic: this is the Wire Cube shelf, designed by Verner Panton and produced by Montana.
Space miracle
Designed by Verner Panton many decades ago, the Danish manufacturer Montana now holds the licence to produce the simple yet sophisticated Wire Cube shelf.
Strictly speaking, it is a modular shelf with numerous application possibilities. Here you can order a Wire Cube element measuring 35.4 x 20 cm online, but you also have the option of creating larger shelves or even room dividers by purchasing several elements.
For this purpose, Montana includes four clips for assembly with other shelves when purchasing an element, two of which are for horizontal and two for vertical installation. The sturdy wire shelves are made of 5 mm thick chrome-plated or colour-painted steel and can bear loads of up to 40 kg when standing.
However, you also have the option of ordering fittings for hanging online. In this case, a load of 10 kg per shelf should not be exceeded for structural reasons.
Versatile design classic
The Wire Cube is not only ideal as a shelf, but also as a side table or bedside table. To use it as a table, you have the option of ordering a table top online, either for a single or two combined Wire Cubes. You can choose between coloured lacquers, smoked glass and elegant marble.
