Antonio Citterio - Designer
Antonio Citterio opened his own design studio at the age of 22 and worked with Terry Dawn on buildings in Europe and Japan from 1987 to 1996. Together with Patricia Viel, he founded an interdisciplinary studio for architecture, interior design and graphic design in 2000. In addition to Vitra, he works with many other well-known companies in the design furniture industry, such as B&B Italian Flos, Kartell and Technogym.
Material and size
The conference chair is a bucket seat with integrated armrests. The back shell is made of plastic and the seat and back cushions are made of polyurethane foam. The cover is made of leather. The 4-star base is made of polished die-cast aluminium. The chair has a FlowMotion conference mechanism with individual adjustment of the backrest counterforce and fixed seat height as well as comfort deep suspension.
