In doing so, the designers Birgit Hoffmann and Christoph Kahleyss have made sure that the characteristic seating comfort of the Leya collection is maintained. Freifrau Sitzmöbelmanufaktur - The brand with the favourite piece guarantee
Freifrau Sitzmöbelmanufaktur was founded in 2012 by Hansjörg Helweg. Together with a team of well-known designers and new talents, he develops seating furniture that is characterised by its attention to detail and its claim to sustainability.
Production takes place in Germany and on the basis of traditional craftsmanship. By using selected and durable materials, Freifrau Sitzmöbelmanufaktur additionally underlines its ecological awareness.
It is particularly important to the manufacturer that the seating furniture is not only pleasing to the eye, but can also be experienced by the other senses. This is achieved by using pleasant wood, leather with a good grip and soft fabrics. This makes every piece of seating furniture unmistakably unique and a real favourite.
Material and format
The seating furniture measures 78 cm in width, 71 cm in depth and 62 cm in height. It is available in different versions:
- Canvas: elegant upholstery fabric made of wool with a calm, monochrome appearance, which on closer inspection contains shimmering colour nuances, fine contrasts and elegant structures. The upholstery fabric consists of 90% virgin wool, worsted yarn and 10% nylon, material dyed. Colour differences may occur. You can find different colour variations in our online shop
- Harald: innovative blend of 100% cotton, piece-dyed. The pattern is cotton velour without selvage. Colour differences may occur. You can get different colour variations in our online shop
- Orient: 1.3-1.5 mm strong soft cowhide nappa leather with distinctive mill grain in the colour variations Ebony, Cacao or Cognac.
- Sahara: 1.0-1.2 mm soft, full-grain nappa leather with a pleasantly soft feel in the colour variations Anthracite, Cognac, Ebony, Stone
- Shimmer: This luminous fabric is the result of satin and rep. The shiny and delicate warp thread interweaves with the weft thread chenille, creating a broken effect. The pleasant feel and optimum abrasion resistance make it an ideal upholstery fabric. It is composed of 38% cotton, 32% viscose and 30% polyamide. You can choose between various colour variations
