Better a sparrow in the hand than a pigeon on the roof: with Kay Bojesen 's pair of sparrows, you even have two sparrows in your hand. It doesn't get any better than this!

You wouldn't know that the original design of the two wooden figures has been around for several decades - the two sparrows look so simple and modern. The Danish designer and wooden toy expert Kay Bojesen created his delightful decorative birds back in 1935 .

Material and format

The pair of sparrows by Kay Bojesen are made of oak. The combination of light-coloured natural oak and dark smoked oak creates a beautiful contrast. The decorative birdsmeasure  5.9 cm x 6.4 cm and have a magnet on the underside so that you can place them on a metal plate if you wish. Purely a matter of heads: the little heads can be rotated.
