Soft curves, simple forms and appealing colours and fabrics - the Silhouette Sofa by Hay looks angular, compact and almost sculptural in the front view. The design sofa is defined by this contrast, which is further reinforced by refined piping details and rounded upholstery.

Simple metal legs complement the design perfectly. The low back is overlaid by two large cushions, creating a cosy impression. It is suitable for both public and private spaces and adds an attractive seat to any room without being too intrusive.

Design agency GamFratesi

The design agency GamFratesi from Copenhagen consists of the architect Stine Gam and the industrial designer Enrico Fratesi. Both got to know each other while studying architecture in Italy and founded the studio together in 2006.

Due to their cultural background, they combine classic Danish craftsmanship traditions with a timeless and conceptual Italian approach. Their designs are characterised by the desire to combine innovation and functionality without sacrificing tradition.

Material and size

The Silhouette Sofa is made of moulded and reinforced glass fibre, PU foam and a filling of feathers and foam parts. It is available in different fabrics and colours. The base is made of black powder-coated steel.

The design sofa is 171 cm wide, 90.5 cm deep, 72.5 cm high. The seat height is 43 cm and the seat depth 60 cm.
